I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Sylvia Rushing and I am the School Counselor here at Lionette Elementary School.  I am excited to be starting a new school year at Lionette and look forward to working with your child.  My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to learning and success.  I will be teaching developmental guidance lessons, and I may also be working with your child in small group or individually for a brief time.
