School Closure

  • In the event that weather conditions or other emergencies necessitate the closing of one or more schools in the district, information will be announced by the local radio stations and the District website and app. Families and staff are notified by the District through phone, email and/or text regarding any closings. Log into the Home Access Center to update what time you would prefer to get phone calls and to what phone numbers you prefer.

    Days lost for such reasons will be made up according to the school calendar or as decided by the Board of School Directors.

Delayed Opening

  • When the District chooses to delay school openings, schools will follow a condensed schedule.

    All students will be picked up 2 hours later than regularly scheduled.

    For example: 
    If your student gets on the bus for to attend middle or high school, they would go out for the bus at 9:30 AM instead of 7:30 AM.


     

Early Dismissal

  • When the District determines that schools need to be dismissed early, you will be notified by 10:30 AM at the latest.

    Elementary school will be dismissed first at 12:00 PM.

    High School will be dismissed at 12:30 PM.
