State College residents are excited about the addition of a new athletic complex. The construction began early this spring and is expected to wrap up late this summer.

"The construction has progressed very smoothly with little interruption for our students," commented Superintendent Dr. Evans. "We eagerly anticipate the opening of this complex which will greatly serve our students and the entire community of Centre County."
 
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for August 30 at 10:00 am at the front entrance of the complex.
